Germany have just passed a law that allows #trans, #intersex and #nonbinary people to change their names and genders with a simple admin task:

I am very happy to add Germany to my list of countries that have trans self-ID!

it's worse than what we have now it also removes all anti discrimination laws as a compromise 🤡

They exchanged one legal assessment to a million daily micro assessments. Now it isn't how much bs u can tell the court but how well u pass

It's not a good law. It also forces newly out trans fems in the military

Misgenders trans parents

Sets legal groundwork for trans exclusion in sport

Atleast if u got ur tsg it's something you can point to and fight discrimination.

not to mention our secret service will keep lists of us now.
The law doesn't specifically forbid that so they will do that as we know from past unrelated cases.

Which is if we consider what's happening in the US rn and what German black blue fascists spew is very likely to happen here aswell.
They Alrdy have the list to execute orders,

But in typical German fashion when you change your name like that your new name and old name are passed on to the German secret service, military police, federal police and immigration bureau.

Also the law has not been passed, it's just the governement has agreed to start parliamentary discussion of the law.

@cleo_schmitz I’m happy that parliament might still change some of the worst parts of the law. (see other parts of thread)
