Don't know about your instance, but mastodon.online is slow as molasses today, and plenty of 503 errors.

Donate to your instance. Go to [instance address]/about and find the donations link. Give them the financial means to manage these growth spurts.
And instance admins... please be prepared. Anticipate, so we are not always reacting.

in reply to Mastodon Migration • •@Mastodon Migration can’t speak for other micro instances, but I’ve had a shedload of new followers and engagement today and my little Friendica server is handling it nicely.
The big guys need to stop their “growth at all costs” mindset and start directing people to smaller instances.
