I find myself yearning for trn's thread navigation when reading fedi posts, Slack threads, Facebook threads, ... In fact, just about any online discussion. Even given the vagaries of Usenet threading, it Just Worked(tm).

No! I've considered implementing that in my mail client, but it seems like a pain to do.
