Heck, if the centre ground ish politicians in Europe had *any* sense of self preservation, let alone decency, measures like votes for all residents would be much, much higher up the political agenda. But the average European social democrat, centrist-liberal, or christian democrat politician still consider giving us votes more off the table, more beyond the pale, than letting actual fascists into government.
