Previous posts on ADHD and food/hunger generated a bit of confusion I think.

Let me see if I can explain. I'm currently making a cheese sandwich because the dishwasher needs emptying.

Does that make sense?

@Alexa Devreux-Swift I'm not actually emptying the dishwasher. That's the point.

I made the sandwich because it wasn't emptying the dishwasher.

@Alexa Devreux-Swift Two sandwiches later. Feeling a bit sick. Dishwasher still needs unloading.

So not sure what to do now.

@Alexa Devreux-Swift Hmm, it definitely wasn't doing that. They aren't known for it.

Was contemplating drinking olive oil but I've decided to make a cup of tea instead!

Dishwasher is looking at me. Rude.

@Alexa Devreux-Swift So look, I emptied the bin because it wasn't the dishwasher. Now I had to put my keys back and take my shoes off and return the bin and put a liner in it and throw away some chicken bones and take my teabag out of my mug and put milk in and close the fridge and drink the tea and then maybe I can stare at the dishwasher a bit more.

Yes. That is how I think. No. I did not know it wasn't normal.

@Alexa Devreux-Swift Well, I mean it gets the cuppa eventually because that's how the mugs get cleaned.

@Jo Dusepo جوهانا دوسپو I couldn't unload the dishwasher because I wanted to.

The food was because I needed something else to do instead.

That's why I eat. It's the usual reason why I eat.

@Jo Dusepo جوهانا دوسپو Like doomscrolling. You know. When you’re bored? You need something to do?

We are always bored.

And housework is so boring it hurts.
