They’re are, apparently, people, terrible terrible wrong people, who do not realise that November Rain is Guns ‘n Roses best song.

Dr David Mills reshared this.

Even worse, some of them think it’s Welcome To The Jungle, which frankly barely makes the top five.

Though I agree that WTTJ isn't their best song, it probably is the best opening track to an album ever written, which understandably confuses people.

But the song from them that goes round my head the most is Dust and Bones.

in reply to Sarah Brown

Meh, not a fan of that one myself. Sweet Child of Mine will always have a soft spot for sentimental reasons. And Paradise City for the Whitby 80s night.

Well, when you were young and your heart was an open book…

@david allen green Sadly I can’t hear that music without thinking of my estranged and very racist father. His favourite film when we were kids was “Live and Let Die”, which he would put on every time we went to his house and provide commentary which, if I repeated here, would get me pretty much instantly defederated by pretty much everyone.
in reply to Sarah Brown

I don’t think I could tell you a thing about the film. Even who was in it.

@david allen green It’s the “James Bond vs stereotypical black people” one.

It’s possibly a teensy bit (massively) problematic.

in reply to Sarah Brown

Ah. Then I won’t make a point of watching it. But still think the theme was done well by G&R.
