This one hurts.
Yeah, this one stings a bit.
It stings because it doesn't go far enough back to actually cover how old I am.

I'm actually mildly dissapointed that, of the several replies to this photo so far, none of pointed out the other end of the table.

Needs a fetus next to a USB-C connector.

Yes, none (few?) or us are connecting our keyboards over USB-C (yet), but we will... oh yes, we will. I imagine there are a few that are USB-C purely to include a hub along the back edge of the keyboard.

my keyboard is connected via USBc even though I’m an old fart! Yes the data connection is Bluetooth, but who unplugs a keyboard? What’s the point?

Did you actually ever own/use a piece of equipment that predated the release of the IBM PC though?

@ajlanes @zoe You can still buy BNIB decoders. You used to have to use metal silver paint to set the addressz

@ajlanes Not sure that really counts, otherwise I’d have to count things like the original 1970s arcade machines I’ve played on.

OK, that one definitely wins. I could argue about something with an integrated keyboard like a ZX81 but even that doesn’t apply!

@zoe The Timex Sinclair 1000 was my first though, but yeah, that was an integrated keyboard (and actually was a later model device anyway).
