Having ADHD be like, “yeah, I’m prescribed daily Speed by my doctor”

“Oh! What does that do for you?”

“Dunno. Nothing really”

in reply to Sarah Brown

My NHS speed that they won't give me more than a month's supply of because it's addictive, but that I have to set two reminders to remember to take 🙃
in reply to Charlie

@Charlie Yeah. That’s annoying, that is.

Still debating whether I can be arsed to take my late evening dose.

Such addiction.

in reply to Charlie

@Charlie No bad thing having a bit of spare instant release about.

Or rather it wouldn’t be if they actually did anything.

Which they totally don’t.

The fidgeting and shit I do the rest of the time is just me being silly.

in reply to Sarah Brown

I only get the Long Release stuff, sadly. I don't think they give the quick stuff out in the UK, but my experience of non-prescribed amphetamines was pretty positive (listened to some music, went to bed).
in reply to Sarah Brown

oh Amfexa is new to me! I'm on 36 & 18 Methylphenidate Hydrochloride LRs. They work fine, I guess - I sleep, I forget to eat, I've mostly stopped picking my face raw 🤷
in reply to Charlie

@Charlie Amfexa is amphetamine, so the "other" regime.

I think the IR booster for methylphenidate would be Ritalin? I'm an amphetamine girl, so it's not my area.

in reply to Sarah Brown

I would guess so, yeah. I tried Lisdex first when I was titrating, really didn't agree with me at all! Lost a stone in weight 😬
in reply to Charlie

@35millimetre It's 11am and I'm grumpy as fuck. Why is that?

Oh yeah, I've forgotten my sodding pill again.

in reply to Darren

@Darren @Charlie Probably left it in the washing machine. Can I interest you in a prime quality squirrel?
