I'm reminded of the time I had a singing teacher originally from Germany who, while NT as far as I knew, appreciated my autistic directness as well as my special-interest enthusiasm (not hurt at all by the fact her teaching was based around a different technical model from the two more well-known paradigms for not-classical voice I'd experienced before!)
