in reply to Sarah Brown • • •I read the original 1958 novella when I was still a child. There is a 1968 film, called Charly. Cliff Robertson (Charlie Gordon) won an Oscar for that. The novel was published in 1966.
YouTube has a copy of a 1961 TV adaptation of the novella, "The Two Worlds of Charlie Gordon", in which Cliff Robertson plays the same role.
